Trenton Thunder Night

For those who braved the soggy weather, Friday night was a great night in Trenton. Not only did the kids get to see an exciting game between the Thunder and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and hang out with their friends, but they also had the opportunity to take the field with the Thunder for the National Anthem -



Remember - keep your used and unused tickets to the game. The Thunder will let you exchange them for another game during the 2008 season (July 3 and rehab appearances excluded). You must take these tickets or ticket stubs to the Thunder box office in order to exchange them. For more details, click here.

Trenton Thunder Night

Join us for our annual Trenton Thunder outing on May 16th at Waterfront Park. Tickets can be purchased through the WWLL website for $10 each. Join us for a night of Fun, Friends and former Yankee Roy White. No WWLL games will be scheduled that night so that everyone can enjoy the evening.

Pitch Hit & Run Competition

PEPSI PITCH HIT & RUN COMPETITION RETURNS TO WWLL

How would you like the opportunity to go to Yankee Stadium and pitch a baseball or run the bases?

The West Windsor qualifying event for this competition which culminates in San Francisco at the All-Star game will be held on May 4th from 10 to 11:30 AM at Ward Field. The event will be conducted across 4 different age groups, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14 and is open to boys and girls. Contestants will compete in pitching a baseball for strikes, hitting a baseball off of a tee, and running to home from 2nd base. Winners of this event will compete in the next round at a time and place yet to be determined. If you have any questions feel free to email Allen Feryus at feryus@comcast.net. NO ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Baseball & Softball continue this summer!

If your child is interested in continuing to play this summer consider one of two options offered by WWLL - All-Stars is a competetive program that required a major time commitment on the part of players and parents. Tryouts are required. Summer Rec season is a more relaxed program for girls and boys. We are looking for a Summer Rec Softball coordinator in order to move forward with this successful program. WWLL Board Meeting - date changed

Please note the change in date for our next Board Meeting. We will meet on Tuesday, January 15th at the WW Municipal Center at 7:30pm. All are invited to attend.

Reminder

Just a reminder that anyone that wishes to tryout for Baseball Majors for the 2008 season must sign up by January 1st. Anyone who registers after this date will be placed on a waiting list. Tryouts will be held at the end of January - more details to follow.

Walk-In Registration on Saturday, Dec. 15th 10am - noon

Please join us on Saturday, December 15th between 10am and noon at the WWLL Indoor Facility in WW Community Park. Board Members will be on hand to answer any questions that you may have regarding the upcoming season.

Softball Pitching (Windmill) Winter Session - Cost $150 per player, clinics conducted by Stacie & Joe Bonner. Rookie Majors Clinics - Free three-day clinics on Batting & Fielding for anyone wishing to tryout for Majors this year and has not played in the Majors Division previously.
